Toshiba 62MX95 Review

The Toshiba 62MX95 model represents Toshiba’s mid-model Cinema series. Toshiba has created a technology called Talen which stands for Toshiba advanced light engine. The Talen utilizes advanced options and setup chip to create their picture quality.
The Toshiba 62MX95 key features are:
- Resolution of 720P
- Tuners with ATSC/QAM
- Digital cable card ready
- TV Guide on Screen
- 1 HDMI, 2 IEEE (1394) inputs
- 2 x 20 Watt Speakers
- Separate woofers and tweeters
Although the 62MX95 model does not have the resolution specs of the 62MX195, it still gives a decent picture. The structure of the unit is beautifully laid out with a black casing with speakers on the side. Nice to see the contours of the screen integrate with the speakers. As with the other Toshiba DLP’s, bulb life will be an issue.
